What is a Lion's Club?
Lion's are part of one of the largest international organizations in the world, who's focus is on Sight, Hearing, and Community. On a local basis, which is where 90% of our funds are donated, we have provided many local students and residents with the aides that they needed, to no cost of their own.
Lion’s is a unique organization, in that 100% of any monies raised by club fundraisers are returned back to the needy. All administrative costs for the club are supported by the club membership.
Our membership is approximately 30 men and women at present, from all walks of life in the
We need your help!!
Our primary dedication is to helping the sight and hearing impaired, but all forms of community service are included in what we do:

The largest fundraiser we do is a Community Birthday Calandar. Through paid advertising, and paid suscribers who then get their families birthdays and annniversaries printed on their respective dates, we are able to raise approximately half of our activities operating budget each year.

Our other fundraisers include selling popcorn at various community events, raffles, pancake breakfasts, fundraising drives, and donations from our community.
Membership Benefits
Would you like to help make a difference in our community and make Bloomfield a better place to live? Would you like to give back to your own community and become part of one of the largest service organization's in the world?
Think that you have nothing to offer? Or that you are too busy? We all have something to contribute to the greater benefit of our community, no matter how large or small we think our input may be. And time is something that none of us has enough of. But an hour or two a month can make a big difference to the kid who can’t see the blackboard yet can't afford glasses, or the woman who is afraid to leave her house as she’s blind, or the disabled child who thinks he/she can never go to summer camp.
Can you use a camera? We are now screening pre-schoolers for eye defects with a specialized camera.
Join us for a dinner and find out what we are all about! Guests are always welcome to come join us!!!

We welcome your questions and comments
